IntroNiche logo almost ready
December 13, 2007
It might be but a small step for the website yet it feels quite good to have a logo.
After a painstaking name selection process, involving lots of advice from friends & family & a lot of swearing at .com cybersquatters, I settled on the IntroNiche name which I had duely registered.
Following that, someone recommended me to use Logobee.com, a canadian logo design company.
I briefed them saying I wanted a professional yet warm logo, targeted at marketing professionals.
A full briefing can be read here:
IntroNiche.com will be a classifieds platform for barter marketing. On our platform, internet, media & leisure companies will get introduced to each other or matched based on the niche they’re targetting. They can then contact each other directly to discuss and close a marketing barter deal.
Target companies: Internet, Communication & technology. Leisure companies. Bloggers.
colours I like: Orange or Red / Green / Black
colours I dislike: Pink, Purple, Yellow
What I need to convey is a simple, easy, fast and friendly place where likeminded young hip companies can do deals together. The idea is to introduce and to connect. A bit like a young country club or a cool lounge bar where people connect yet also do business.
Another idea for the image would be to use the image of an Intron (DNA particle) Google Image it. However, this also should show connection and introduction and preferrably not look too scientific (not my target group, science people). What would also be nice is to get a view from like a microscope looking at different DNA’s connecting.
What is also good is to work on the targeting or niche image. Here you can work with arrows or signs for the targetting. Or overlapping forms like cubes representing different target groups that overlap slightly yet are still different.
Then followed some nice samples and some up and down mailing.
The final result will soon be shown here….
