Tradedoubler: nice people

December 5, 2007

I went for an interview at Tradedoubler today. Even though I am actually starting up this company.
But the job sounded really good, my selection agency was quite convincing and anyway, I always wanted to learn a bit more about the affiliation business model.

What struck me is that the people I met all seemed talented yet down to earth.
Their COO was in his early thirties, like me, as was the VP for Southern Europe.
Both of them did not have MBA’s and both started as account managers.
And the HR director seemed to have all her wits about her, not a common thing either.
Tradedoubler seems to place quite an importance on their people and their development.

Honestly, quite a nice suprise. I wonder how much of this attitude is based on the Swedish origins of this company? Is this why Scandinavian companies can get so big?

The only thing I can be slightly critical at is the offering on their website.
Can you find the difference between push, pull and campaigns? Or the pricing for this?
A bit more transparancy please…..
